Spring has finally Sprung in Savannah!
After a long unseasonally cold Winter, Spring has finally arrived in Savannah! The Azaleas, in Forsyth Park, have started to bloom...
Our front desk staff not only ensures that your reservations are accurate but they consider themselves your host to the city of Savannah.
Whether it’s making reservations giving directions or recommendations, our front desk staff has you covered. They are first and last smiling faces you will see during your visit with us, but by no means the only ones
We are excited to have Chef Chris leading our Breakfast Team! Formerly the Chef of Sage he leads a double life as a chef by day and musician by night! Our kitchen staff wakes up bright and early every morning to prepare a fresh hot breakfast for you to enjoy. Not only is it refreshing to to be greeted by friendly service but you’ll feel at home as you sit down to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and the morning paper.
Our talented and dedicated housekeepers perform their job long before you arrive, ensuring that your room is pristine and comfortable. They also maintain the cleanliness of public areas of the house such as the courtyards, parlor, and dining areas.
Our Charming Courtyard Gardens
The sad news is that Ms Sheila, the Inn’s longest standing employee and gardener extraordinaire has departed for pastures greener. We wish her well and thank her for her talented green thumb and devotion to our courtyard gardens over the past couple of decades.
The good news is that Mary McAlister, the Innkeeper’s wife and gifted gardener will be tending her own verdant courtyards. After a long and distinguished career heading up the Savannah Rape Crisis Center Mary has decided to retire and participate in one of her favorite pursuits for the benefit of the Inn!
It's Cool for Cats!
Here’s your official welcoming committee! Our courtyard kitties allow us humans to run their inn (we know who it really belongs to). All of our cats are strictly outdoor only. Peanut is one of our numerous kitties and caught on camera enjoying an afternoon snooze Zzzzzz They are full of wit, keep us on our toes and provide alot of the entertainment at breakfast. Sadly Honeybun, our travelling cat, is no longer with us and is no doubt in some distant land!
Sunshine, our alpha male passed away on 22nd January, 2013. Sunshine was a special cat who loved roaming the courtyard gardens and visiting with our guests during breakfast, he will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace...
