All of the tours below can be reserved at or through the inn. Except for the walking tours, all of them offer pick-ups at the inn.
Old Town Trolley Tours
Historic Overview Trolley tour with two-day on/off pass – Enjoy a 90 minute uninterrupted tour of the Historic District. This thorough introduction to the city will give you plenty of ideas for attractions you may want to look at more in depth. Secure this tour with a $5 deposit at the inn then pay the remaining balance when you board the trolley. For children the fee is $12.50 and no deposit is needed. Pick-ups can be scheduled via reception. They start at 9am and run about every half hour until 2:30pm. The on/off pass runs 9am-5:30pm
Haunted Tour – Find out why the American Institute of Parapsychology has named Savannah “America’s Most Haunted City” by joining the only tour that investigates the morgue tunnels beneath the city. The tour runs at 7pm daily with an additional 9pm departure on Fridays and Saturdays. Pick-ups from the inn can be arranged, typically 15-30 minutes prior to the tour time. Secure this tour with a $5 deposit at the inn then pay the remaining balance on the trolley.
Historic Homes Walk – Take this enchanting walk through the heart of the Historic District and you’ll see some of the stateliest mansions Savannah has to offer. Learn about the variety of architecture that defines the city’s time periods. This tour includes admission to one house museum. Scheduled tours meet at Reynolds Square 15 minutes prior to the departure time of 10am Mon-Sat. It is $30 per person and can be booked and paid for directly through the inn.
Gates and Gardens – From majestic squares to humble courtyards, Savannah’s legacy of a garden city is firmly rooted in time. You’ll see elaborate ironwork gates and will be invited into some of Savannah’s finest private courtyards. Tours meet at Reynolds Square 15 minutes prior to the departure times of 1pm and 4pm daily. It is $20 per person and can be booked and paid for directly through the inn.
Civil War – Submerge yourself in Civil War era Savannah from the buildings involved to the burial grounds of the soldiers. You’ll learn about the strategies both sides used and how the war affected the citizens of Savannah. Scheduled tours meet at Reynolds Square 15 minutes prior to their departure times of 10am and 1pm daily. It is $20 per person and can be booked and paid for directly through the inn.
A Walk through “Midnight” – Read the book, seen the movie, ready to be part of the magic? This walk will take you to some of the most famous attractions featured in the runaway bestseller and many of the guides, as native Savannah and/or extras in the movie, have fascinating behind-the-scenes stories and material to share. Tours meet at Reynolds Square 15 minutes prior to the departure time of 1pm daily. It is $20 per person and can be booked and paid for directly through the inn.
Savannah Stroll – Get a feel for Historic Downtown from the ground up with this comfortable walking tour that will take you through Savannah’s famed Garden Squares while acquainting you with the city’s history. Scheduled tours meet at Reynolds Square 15 minutes prior to their departure times of 10am and 1pm daily. It is $20 per person and can be booked and paid for directly through the inn.
Ghost Tour – If you’re looking for a low-key ghost tour, this walk is for you. Learn about the city’s darker history as you walk beneath Spanish moss lit by the street lamps. Full of local legends, this is the most popular tour that Savannah Walks offers. Scheduled tours meet at Johnson Square 15 minutes prior to the departure times of 5:30, 7:30, and 9:30 nightly. It is $20 per person and can be booked and paid for directly through the inn.

Foody Tour – Get a taste of Savannah– literally! Join one of our favorite tours and indulge in the city’s rich culinary history, visit famous restaurants, and sample so much you may not have room for dinner! For those who don’t feel like waiting in line to see what Paula Dean’s is all about, you’ll even get a chance to step inside Lady and Sons and try some dishes without the hassle. Enjoy homemade ice cream, specialty chocolates, shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, and much more. Several restaurants will even give you a goodie bag to take home. You can take the walking Foody Tour at 1pm and you will meet at Wright Square 15 minutes prior to departure. It is 2.5 hours and departs rain or shine. The riding Foody tour at 11am is 3 hours and pick-ups can be scheduled. Advance reservations suggested as seating is limited. On the tour, please ask the owners of each location about ingredients if you have any allergies or dietary needs. To secure your reservation there is a $5 per person deposit. When you board the tour, you pay a remainder of $49 for adults and $39 for children aged 5 to 12. There is also a walking version available!
Movie Tour – This 90 minute tour for movie buffs takes place in a comfortable climate-controlled minibus. You’ll hop off at stops along the way like Chippewa Square where Forrest Gump sat. To refresh your memory, you’ll see clips from the movies on LCD screens within the bus. On the way, you’ll pass some of the homes of the stars and hear about their favorite places to dine, shop and party! Bring your camera, you never know who you might see. Advance reservations suggested as seating is limited. Departures are at 3pm or 4pm and pick-ups can be scheduled at the inn. To secure your reservation there is a $5 deposit per adult, $2 per kid. When you board, you pay the remainder of $29 per adult and $18 per child aged 5 to 12.
