Greetings y’all! So much for New Year’s resolutions…
Well I did manage to substitute the tinned tuna for the live gold fish but really not the same as sushi.
Oh and no crashing into...

What to expect at Savannah Bed and Breakfast Inn
Once you stay here, you will return. The staff is so friendly from the time you make your reservations until you check in, you will be treated like family. I have stayed here many times and have referred the B&B to other travelers. The breakfast are wonderful and so are the treats and tea in the afternoon, but you can’t forget cookies and milk before bed. This one is a keeper on my travelers list.

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast in prime location! We were able to park our car upon arrival and did not need it again until we were ready to leave. We walked or used the trolleys for the entire weekend. We are already planning next year’s long weekend.

We got exactly what we expected. Felt like a step back in time, room was clean and the furniture matched the feel. Staff was very helpful and set up our tours and gave us lots of info. Breakfast was good. We really enjoyed it and will stay there again. Breakfast was good and sitting on the outside patio was nice and imagining how things might of been previously. Bring a bottle of wine, unplug from the rectangle, enjoy, and it is definitely better than some fully modernized hotel for the experience.

Stayed at the B&B Inn with my wife & our best friends for our 25th wedding anniversary. Rooms were clean, beautiful & quiet. Food was scrumptious. Staff was warm & friendly. We will stay again.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Savannah Bed & Breakfast Inn. The home was beautiful; and the staff was professional, friendly, & accommodating. Breakfast on the back deck was especially serene and enjoyable. We will certainly be back, and will certainly recommend this inn to our friends. Thank you all for a wonderful vacation.

This was my 6th stay at the Savannah Bed and Breakfast. My daughter and I took a few days to relax and re-charge. We have always loved our stay at this inn. The rates are very reasonable and a great value compared to other inns and hotels in the area. …The bed was super comfortable and one could see that attention was paid to the details. Breakfast was delicious and filling… not skimpy as others reported. We were given a parking pass for our entire stay that was good on the parking meters out front, and on the waterfront as well as in the parking garages. The location is great. It’s a lovely walk to the waterfront though the squares and just a block from the Mercer House. I will keep coming back to this inn. In fact, my husband and I are going back in February to stay in their Connor House which is rented out either nightly or as a vacation rental on a weekly basis. We can’t wait!

My husband and I stayed at the Inn during our recent stay in Savannah. I have stayed at other bed and breakfasts in the historic district, so I had something to compare it to. Our visit was WONDERFUL. I could not believe what a good value we got!… It was spotless! The room was comfortable and spacious. We asked for something "quiet" since we wanted to sleep in. We don’t usually get the opportunity to do so at home with two small kids! The cottage was very quiet. I loved that there were books everywhere, so in case you forget to bring one, they practically had a library to choose from.
The staff at this bed and breakfast was extremely friendly and treated everyone like family. They were beyond courteous- they went out of their way to help us find a restaurant to go for dinner.
The food was exceptional. If you have dietary restrictions, and you ask for consideration, they will make something special for you. The breakfast was wonderful!! I would highly recommend staying there- the whole experience was enjoyable and it was a true taste of Southern hospitality.

We stayed two weekend nights and had a lovely time. The room was clean, bed soft, amenities useful. The breakfasts were very good, including the sweet potato pancakes! The staff was extremely helpful with restaurant and other suggestions. The location can’t be beat!

There is no better way to experience the charm and history of Savannah than to stay in one of its many intimate inns. When you decide to stay with us, you are choosing to completely immerse yourself in Savannah life and to take in all that Georgia’s First City has to offer. The Bed and Breakfast Inn is located in the southern region of the historic district, an easy walk to any attraction in the downtown area. Only a 15 minute stroll to River Street, our streets are quieter than those closer to the River. We are about a 2 minute walk to Forsyth Park where you can take in the lush greenery and visit the famous fountain and monuments.
For First Time B&B Goers
The Bed and Breakfast experience is a little different than that of staying in a large hotel. Walking into our inn feels like walking in to a private home (in fact, you are) where you are greeted by name, welcomed with daily afternoon tea, and are free to chat with our staff, the hosts for your visit. Our parlor area is a place for guests from all over the world to meet, exchange stories, and swap experiences. In fact, our Inn feels more like a cozy home than just a place to spend the night. One concern many guests have about Bed and Breakfasts is privacy. Please note that each of our rooms offers a private bath.
You are welcome to interact with the staff and guests as much or as little as you desire. The following comment is from the Kendrick’s who stayed with us this past August:
“I must say that this was the first time that I have stayed at a B&B. We had misconceptions about privacy, until we saw this place and then fell in love with it. I cannot express the amount of gratification that we have staying here. The staff was wonderful and extremely friendly. We feel that we have new friends that we will definitely plan to visit again and again. Our only regret is that we wish we could have found your B&B sooner to be able to stay longer. Thank you for allowing us to stay with you. We want to hug everyone goodbye.”
A Few Unique Details About Our Inn
Staying in our historic homes and cottages is part of the unique appeal of Savannah. The entrance to the main house is up an elegantly curved staircase. We have rooms located on the ground and main floors, and additionally up one or two flights of stairs – for the best view! Please let us know when you make your reservation if anyone in your party has difficulty climbing stairs as we will do our best to provide you with the most conveniently located rooms.
We have three cats that are family at our Bed & Breakfast home. Although they are not allowed in any of our guest rooms or houses, they love to sit nearby when you enjoy our outdoor areas. They are friendly and happily return a scratch on the head with gentle purr.
If you arrive by car we do our best to make parking as carefree as possible with your cooperation. Meters are read from 8 am until 5 pm Monday-Friday and we happily pay the meters for you if you stay with us during the week.
As with any century-and-a-half year old house we work constantly to maintain its excellent condition. Please consider this when you hear creaks or see areas that are being updated and renewed. We welcome your comments and suggestions as we are always improving.
Unlike a large hotel that may be staffed through out the night, we do hold normal business hours. We are available to assist you and take reservations between 8 am and 10 pm Eastern Standard Time every day of the week. Check-in time is from 3 pm until 10 pm each night.
