You won’t leave hungry!
Our hot, cooked-to-order breakfast will be one of the high points of your stay at the Bed and Breakfast Inn. Early every morning our Chefs begin to prepare your meal. You will be invited to dine indoors at our family-style tables or you can choose to enjoy your breakfast on our patio at more private tables (weather permitting). Your menu options will change daily and you will be given a choice between the "Chef’s Breakfast" or a lighter option such as fruit and granola or scrambled eggs and homemade toast. We do our best to accommodate special dietary requests when it is possible to do so.
Some current Chef’s Breakfasts include:
- Omelets cooked to order served with Charlotte’s famous Southern pecan cornbread
- Fresh hot buttermilk biscuits smothered in homemade sausage gravy withh scrambled eggs
- Peach stuffed French toast
- Southern breakfast – farm fresh eggs cooked to order, smoked applewood bacon, homemade sweet potato biscuit, and of course, slow cooked stone-ground grits.
- Eggs Benedict
(offered on days with lower occupancy) - Quiche Lorraine
- Blueberry Pancakes (seasonally)
- Breakfast Casserole
Additionally we offer a buffett of homemade granola and breakfast bread, as well as a variety of cereal.
Afternoon Tea
Each weekday (Sunday – Thursday) afternoon our guests join us for afternoon tea. Simple snacks baked by our Chefs are served along with Georgia-style sweet tea (a plain one too). A refreshing time for you to relax, enjoy and maybe even get to know some of the other guests!

Our weekend (Friday & Saturday) guests are invited to join us for our wine & cheese reception. Both red and white wines are served along with creative cheese and cracker dishes. Often our Chef will make exquisite cheese balls or cheese dips. This is a great chance to mingle with other guests, to browse through local menus before heading out for the evening, or to hear a few tidbits of Savannah’s rich and colorful history. However you decide to enjoy your evening, we would be glad to see you at this wonderful event.
