Housekeeping and Maintainance

Our talented and dedicated housekeepers perform their job long before you arrive, ensuring that your room is pristine and comfortable.  They also maintain the cleanliness of public areas of the house such as the courtyards, parlor, and dining areas.

Keeping up with multiple century-and-a-half-old buildings is lots of hard work.  From painting to plumbing these tough guys are true handyman.  There isn’t anything they can’t do.

Meet Ms. Sheila

Ms. Sheila is one of the inn’s original employees and she has done it all!  Now you will see her every afternoon perfectly manicuring all the many plants around our courtyards.  She faithfully prunes, waters, and nutures the trees, shrubs, and flowers and also maintains the fish pond. We love Ms. Sheila and her talented green thumb!

Meet Sunshine and Muffin

Your official welcoming committee, Sunshine and Muffin allow us humans to run their inn (we know who it really belongs too).  Sunshine and Muffin are both strictly outdoor cats. Sunshine is a very friendly inn cat who loves to roam our courtyard and balcony areas.  When he’s not busy making the rounds greeting guests and purring at their feet you can find him taking an afternoon snooze on the porch or eyeing the goldfish in the pond.

Muffin is our frisky little kitten and the newest member of the Inn family.  She is full of wit and spunk and provides most of the entertainment at breakfast.
